Jodie and Mike bring more than five decades of combined experience across event production, venue management and technical direction.

Jodie’s background in psychology and event production shapes how Max Events approaches the human side of the work: how teams communicate, how clients make decisions, and how people perform together under pressure. Mike brings more than 35 years of technical production experience and the practical judgment to know what an event truly requires—not simply what a supplier wants to sell.

Together, they provide the continuity at the centre of every Max Events project. They set the direction, ask the right questions, assemble the right people and remain accountable from the first conversation through onsite delivery.

Their experience spans major public festivals, live entertainment, corporate conferences, awards programs and technically complex productions.

Events do not need the same team at every stage. A project may need a small, focused planning team for several months, then a much larger group of experienced specialists as the event approaches.

Max Events expands and contracts with the work. Our core team maintains leadership, continuity, and accountability. Our wider network allows us to bring in experienced producers, technical specialists, and onsite leaders when the event requires them.

Clients pay for the right level of expertise for each task: practical coordination for the day-to-day work, senior judgment for important decisions, and specialized experience when the work demands it.
